Our Pork
Good pork starts with the breed, the farming system and the time given to the animal. At Edenmoor, we work with farmers who rear traditional and native breeds in systems that allow pigs to behave naturally and grow at their own pace.
Why does our pork have such great flavour?
Our pigs have access to the outdoors, where they can root, forage and explore, while being reared on carefully considered diets alongside what they find naturally. This slower, more traditional approach produces pork with a depth of flavour, rich colour and the quality of fat that good pork is known for.
What makes our pork different?
We have built long-standing relationships with the farmers who supply our pork, allowing us to understand exactly how the animals are raised and where our meat comes from. We favour smaller-scale farming, keeping the journey from farm to butcher as short as practical. The pork is then expertly prepared, with careful butchery making the most of the breed, the farming system and the quality of the meat.
For us, properly farmed pork should have real character. Native breeds, outdoor rearing, slower growth and attentive farming all contribute to the finished product, while supporting a more traditional approach to livestock farming. It is this combination of flavour, welfare and responsible farming that defines Edenmoor pork.

Our pork comes from British farms where pigs have space to roam and time to mature. Working with farmers who put welfare and responsible land management first, we choose traditionally reared pigs for pork with greater depth of flavour and a naturally firm texture
