  • We will send whole fresh birds and crowns to you fresh, everything else will be delivered to you frozen. * (with the exception of Highlands and island deliveries which ALL items will be delivered frozen)
  • The Christmas poultry (whole Turkey, whole Goose) will arrive fresh and wrapped in paper. It is best to remove this paper, place the bird on a wire rack or a plate at the bottom of the fridge and allow the air to circulate. It is important to keep your Christmas poultry dry.
  • Our Turkeys do not need brining because of the breed we have selected. We grow our birds slowly only ever feeding them a natural diet, this builds a wonderful texture in the meat. We hang every bird for 12 days to develop a fantastic flavour. This means there is absolutely no need to brine. You will have plenty of flavour and succulence in the meat naturally.
