  • These iconic Craster Kippers are carefully smoked by L. Robson & Sons, a family-run smokehouse nestled in the picturesque Northumberland village of Craster.

    Only the plumpest herring, naturally rich in oil, are selected. They are gently split, brined, and then hung in the 130-year-old smokehouse, where they slowly smoulder for 16 hours, developing their signature depth of flavour.

    Celebrated as some of Britain’s finest, these Kippers are a true taste of tradition and pair beautifully with our rich kedgeree butter.

  • Place on a baking tray lined with foil. Grill on a preheated grill
    on medium heat. Place kipper skin side down on foil-lined
    tray. Grill for 6–8 minutes, until piping hot and lightly
    browned.

  • Keep Frozen.
    Defrost before cooking. Place in the fridge overnight.
    Alternatively place into cold water for around 30-60 minutes.
    Once defrosted, consume within 3 days.
