  • Northern Pasta Co’s Conchigliette are the perfect blend of tradition and versatility. Handcrafted in Cumbria, these little shells add texture and flavour to a variety of dishes.

At the heart of this pasta is regeneratively grown British spelt, carefully selected for its superior flavour and sustainability. Northern Pasta Co uses Bronze Dies to shape each piece, giving it a beautifully textured surface that holds sauces perfectly. The pasta is then slowly dried at low temperatures to preserve the full depth of flavour, ensuring every bite is full of nutty richness and carefully crafted quality.

With a subtle nutty flavour that comes from the finest British spelt, these Conchigliette are as delightful to the taste as they are to cook with. Whether you’re preparing a comforting bowl of soup or a vibrant salad, this pasta brings a new level of deliciousness to every dish.

  • It's handmade in Cumbria using regeneratively grown British spelt, shaped through bronze dies and slowly dried at low temperatures. That combination gives it a nutty flavour and a textured surface.

  • Spelt grown using farming methods that build soil health and biodiversity rather than depleting them. It's more sustainable and typically results in more flavoursome grain.

  • Cream-based sauces and pestos cling well to the textured surface, but chunky tomato sauces work equally well. The nutty spelt flavour also complements simple butter-and-cheese preparations.
