  • For us, this is the most flavoursome cut of chicken. Our Properly Free Range Boneless Chicken Thighs have a proper depth of flavour; rich and ever so slightly gamey, they taste just like chicken used to.

    Our Properly Free Range chicken thighs can be cooked quickly or slowly, making them the ultimate versatile cut.

    Delicious in summer salads, or autumnal one-pots, our free range chicken thighs make such a brilliant kitchen staple.

    Each boneless chicken thigh weighs approximately 110g.

    220g total per pack.

  • Properly Free Range Chicken

  • Preheat your oven to 180C

    Season the flesh and the skin of the thighs.

    Take a good sized roasting dish and place the thighs snugly inside.

    Roast in the oven for 25 - 30 minutes. 

    Alternatively you can slow cook the chicken thighs by submerging them in our prure chicken stock and popping them into an oven set at 150C for at least an hour. 

    Our boneless chicken thighs can also be cooked on the BBQ. Simply give the thighs a generous season. Place them on the BBQ away from any direct flame and cook for 15-20 minutes until they are lightly charred and cooked all the way through. 

  • All of our meat is delivered frozen ready to pop straight into your freezer, once defrosted these can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Thighs are the most flavoursome cut of the bird, with a rich, slightly gamey depth that breast doesn't have. The thigh is made up of flavoursome meat, fine collagen and a little fat, which keeps it succulent whether cooked quickly or slowly.

  • Season and roast them at 180C for 25 to 30 minutes, or slow-cook them submerged in stock at 150C for at least an hour until tender. They're also excellent on the barbecue, turned regularly for around 20 minutes until lightly charred and cooked through.

  • Our properly free range chickens are grown slowly to natural maturity of at least 12 weeks, significantly longer than many other free range and organic birds. All that free-ranging builds strong bones and leg muscles, giving the thighs real texture and flavour.
