    Our award-winning Properly Free Range Chickens are meticulously de-boned by our talented artisan butchers, then, they are carefully stuffed with our delicious handmade, totally natural stuffing of; apricots, hazelnuts and fresh herbs.  

    Our stuffed whole chicken makes a perfect centerpiece for celebratory meals. 

    Any leftover meat is so delicious cold or makes a great sandwich filling. 

    We take time to develop real depth of flavour in our birds. They eat a wholesome, healthy diet, creating the wonderful flavour that we have become famous for.

    Each stuffed chicken weighs approximately 2kg.

  • Preheat the over to 180C.

    Take a good sized roasting tin and wrap it with tin foil. 

    Place the stuffed chicken into the roasting tin and cover over with foil. 

    Take the roating tin and place into the oven. Cook for 1 hour 15 minutes. 

    Remove the foil from the top of the bird and place the tin back into the oven for 15 minutes to brown. 

    Remove the tin from the oven and pop the stuffed chicken onto a carving board. 

    Pour the juices from the tin into a saucepan and add a pouch of our pure chicken stock, then leave to reduce for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens. 

    Carve and serve with glugs of delicious gravy.

  • Yes, the whole bird is boned out before stuffing, so it carves like a joint rather than a whole roast chicken. Every slice runs through breast, stuffing and thigh in one clean cut.

  • A handmade mix of apricots, hazelnuts and fresh herbs, worked through the deboned bird before rolling. No fillers, just fruit, nuts and seasoning.

  • The birds live outdoors on pasture with real space to roam, forage and behave naturally, rather than being kept in barns with only nominal access to outside. It's the standard behind the depth of flavour in the meat.
