We always strive for the fullest flavour in everything we produce, we rear our animals slowly, in harmony with nature and allow our livestock to reach natural maturity. This not only allows the animal to live a longer life but helps to enrich the flavour of their meat with a real depth. We also hang the meat for longer to help develop a rich texture and a delicious bite. We believe this is so important and is a key factor in why we have won so many accolades.
We’ve been producing exceptional meat for over 30 years, and our commitment to flavour, animal welfare and responsible farming has been recognised by some of the UK’s most respected food and farming organisations.

More than just awards
Our awards are recognition of something we have believed in since we were founded - great meat starts with how animals are raised.
Our native breed cattle are 100% grass-fed and slowly grown to natural maturity. Our native breed pigs live outside year-round, while our lamb is 100% grass-fed and hung on the bone for three weeks to develop its full flavour. Our chickens and ducks are given the freedom to forage and display their natural instincts.
That approach has consistently been recognised by judges, who have praised everything from the marbling, tenderness and depth of flavour in our beef to the richness and texture of our native breed pork.
But awards aren't the reason we do things this way.
We do it because we believe meat should taste exceptional.
From the farmer raising the animal, to the butcher preparing the cut, every part of the process matters. The awards are simply recognition that taking the time to do things properly makes a difference.
